The M70 pistol was produced by Yugoslavian (now Serbian) arms factory Crvena Zastava as a sidearm for police and certain military officers.
This pistol is based on the military-type M57 pistol. For many years these pistols were used by Yugoslavian police and military. M70 pistol is a simple blowback design. the barrel remains stationary when gun is fired, but it can be easily removed during disassembly of the pistol. The trigger is of single action type; hammer unit is made removable as one piece. manual safety is located on the left side of the frame, above the grip panel. Sights are fixed.
Extra magazine, holster, and brush is included.
This batch of pistols looks unissued as does the second magazine and the holster, they all look new. In this batch, they already removed some of the exterior cosmoline, but the insides are still cosmoline-packed.

Possibly the most rigorously tested pistol ever developed, the new SAR9 endured 130°F baking to simulate desert conditions, -50°F for the arctic, salt fog, high altitude, 24 hours of rain, solar radiation, fouling, drop tests and 150,000 rounds of live fire in the factory.
